Recap the story ‘The Colour Monster’ and write a sentence about what makes you happy. If you haven't listened to the story yet or want to listen again the link is below.
You may need to show your child how to write the word ‘like’ but they can attempt the rest of the sentence using their phonics knowledge by writing the sounds they can hear in the word. Don’t worry if they don’t get the spelling correct. At this point it is more important for them to try and have a go at writing the words themselves rather than you writing it for them to copy or telling the letters to write.
