Speech Bubbles tell us what a character is saying.
Can you draw the Gingerbread Man and then write a speech bubble for him? Can you remember his catchphrase? – I’ll give you a clue ‘Run, run……’
Your child can draw the item and then try and write the sounds they can hear in the word. Don’t worry if they don’t get the spelling correct. At this point it is more important for them to try and have a go at writing the words themselves rather than you writing it for them to copy or telling the letters to write.
