Maths
In Maths, we have been working on multiplication and division, measuring and fractions!
Maths
In Maths, we have been practising our numbers and counting to 20. We have also been working really hard on adding and subtracting. We love using manipulatives! See below just some of the things we have been doing:
English
In Autumn 1, we read 'How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth' and came up with our own set of instructions for this.
In Autumn 2, we explored 'Escape from Pompeii' and completed a range of descriptive pieces of writing. We were very good at using our powerful verbs! At the end, we wrote a newspaper report about Mount Vesuvius erupting.
Science
In Autumn 1, we learnt all about rocks and soils. This included exploring the two and also carrying out experiments to test the properties of rocks.
In Autumn 2, we moved on to the human body including animals. We looked at the different parts of the human body and how our body works. We also classified animals.

Art
In Autumn term, we worked on our art skills. We used different sketching techniques and also explored different media to create a stone age style cave painting and also frottage.
PSHE
We have been working on our health and well-being in our PSHE lessons. We really loved trying out some yoga and learning about the positive impact relaxation can have on our minds.
Other events
We took part in Children in Need and raised lots of money for good causes!
