Bengal Tigers

Welcome to our class page!

 

My name is Miss Garbutt and we are the Bengal Tigers. 

 

We will be starting our year off with our mini topic- India.

We will then be looking at The Stone Age, Our Country, Our Home and then finally, The Egyptians.

This term, we have been learning all about the Stone Age. 

 

We have looked at the homes they lived in, the food they would have eaten and the tools they made.

 

As we learnt that farmers in the Stone Age grew wheat, we made our own Stone Age bread and compared it to the types of bread we can buy in our shops today. We agreed that our bread today was much nicer!

In Science, we have been learning all about the human body. We were able to identify the bones in our body and then use the scientific names for each of the bones. We then learnt about why we have a skeleton and what would happen if we didn't have one!

We had a fantastic time on Christmas Party Day. We even got a visit from Santa!
