Autumn Term
In Autumn 1, we started the year by focussing on getting to know one another and celebrating our individuality.
So far, we have thought about our identity (what makes us special, things we like) family, things that makes us feel good and not so good and how to be a good friend. We have also created our group charter, as a team.
In the pictures below, you can see examples of our self-portraits, 'helping hands' and shields of belonging.
Autumn Term 
In the latter part of Autumn 1, we began to explore the Zones of Regulation. We have learned to identify and name our basic emotions, as well as thinking about which Zone we are in and why. We used the text 'The Colour Monster' to support this and thought about what makes us feel each of the basic emotions.
