Reception -Penguins

Hello and welcome to the Penguins Class page!

We hope you will enjoy following our learning journey and seeing all the exciting thing we do along the way.

Miss Richardson

We are Scientists!

We have been exploring light & dark and magnets.

Children In Need

We helped to raise money for Children In Need by wearing our own clothes.

 

Remembrance Day

We learnt about Remembrance Day and thought about all the soldiers who have been injured or lost their lives. We made our own collage poppies.  

We have been learning about ourselves. He looked in the mirror to see our facial features then we mixed some paints to make a self portrait.

Penguin Collage

 

We combined a variety of different materials to create our Penguins. We used pages from an old book to create a feathered effect for the tummy and a range of orange materials to make the feet. Then we stuck our faces on!

We love our new outdoor area! We had great fun exploring all the different areas to play in. 

Here we are in our first week in Reception. We had lots of fun getting to know our new friends and teacher and exploring our new learning environment!
