Pupil Leadership Team


Our Pupil Leadership Team consists of the Head Boy and Head Girl and the Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. This year their duties include.



Pupil Newsletters

They will work together to create a half termly pupil newsletter (they decide on the name and what goes in it) We will send it out to all of our classes and families in the last week of each half term.

Pupil Well-Being and Mental Health Week

They will organise a Well-Being and Mental health Week for pupils in the spring term.  

Assemblies/Leaflets etc.

They will work together to produce some assemblies and leaflets on anti-bullying and anti-racism/prejudice to deliver to the school and to share with everyone.

Pupil Voice

They are responsible for gathering pupil voice on a selection of topics from children across the school which will then be shared with the Senior Leadership team.

Visitors/Open Days etc.

When we have important visitors or Open Days they will be asked to give them a tour or answer questions they may have about what it’s like to be a pupil at HHPS.  It’s their job to promote our school.


There may be other duties throughout the year including speaking to the school Governors.

Maria H – Head Girl

Hi, I’m Maria and I am Head Girl of HHPS 2021-2022. I have two pet guinea pigs and their names are Ginger and Pickles. They are really cute and adventurous.

I love reading and my favourite authors are Dav Pilkey and Enid Blyton. I’ve written a book called ‘The Disaster’ look out for it in the library!

I love playing my ukulele and I’m currently practicing for my Grade 2 certificate. I also enjoy playing football and creating plays with my drama group. I am proud to be part of the Pupil Leadership Team. You are always welcome to ask me any questions and I will try my best to find out the answer.



Harrison L – Head Boy

Hi, my name is Harrison and I am delighted to be this year’s Head Boy! I will do everything I can to make this year the best tear you will ever have. My birthday is the 20th March and I was born on a cusp (which means I am both Aries and Pisces.)

Outside of school I enjoy reading, swimming, spending time with my family and playing with my friends.

My ambition for the future is to be a chef or an author and to be super famous and really rich!



Daisy P – Deputy Head Girl

Hi, I’m Daisy P and I’m in New York class. My favourite subjects are Art and Maths. I’ve been at Harrowgate Hill Primary School for 7 years and I started when I was 3 in nursery. I’ve got lots of friends here and I think that it is a lovely school.

I live at home with my mum and dad, brother and sister who are called Sam and Mollie they both came to Harrowgate Hill Primary School. Also, I have a dog called Roxy and four fish. Outside of school, I go to dancing and I love it. My favourite is tap and sometimes I do competitions.

I am very proud to have been chosen to be Deputy Head Girl for my last year here at Harrowgate Hill Primary School. I hope I do a good job if there is anything I can help anyone with please let me know
