Uniform Information

We encourage pupils to take a pride in their appearance. The school uniform incorporates the 5 school colours: pale blue, navy blue, black, grey and white.  School, P.E. and Games Uniform is available from the School Office and we have a credit card facility for payment. As we have limited storage space, all sizes cannot be guaranteed, but they can be ordered with a short delivery time.

  • Tailored shorts – charcoal grey
  • Tailored skirts/pinafores – charcoal grey (not fashion,
  • not tight and not black)

  • P.E. Kit: shorts and a house coloured t-shirt, black sandshoes, black socks. Joggers are permitted in the colder weather. This PE kit should be available in school every school day.

Foundation children only need a P.E. kit for Summer Term (April – July).

  • All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with the child’s name.

  • If your child forgets to bring the appropriate kit on their Games or PE day school will provide them with one for that lesson and you will be informed if this continues.

  • Named bags should be of a reasonable size to ensure safe storage.

  • Children must access ALL physical activities and will only be excused a games lesson if a letter is sent to school with a medical explanation.  Please include in your letter how long the absence is needed physical education.

  • It is the parents’ responsibility to get their children to school warm and dry, so in cold weather please send children in appropriately dressed: scarf, hat, gloves etc. Please ensure that your child brings a named waterproof coat, preferably with a hood, to school every day. It is expected that children can play out in all weathers in the clothing and footwear provided by parents.

  • Long hair should be away from the face to reduce the risk of head lice and to enable children’s expressions to be seen.  This is a safety issue with P.E.

  • If you have difficulty providing your child with uniform or PE/Games Kit please let us know as we may be able to help.

All uniform can be ordered on line and through the Admin Office
